Man Utd versus Brighton & Hove Albion – Premier League Live Coverage

Preamble

The Red Devils, after defeating Liverpool and Sunderland, look to make it a trio of victories in a row this evening. The wind’s behind them with Ruben Amorim in charge now more than ever!

Yet, Brighton come from the south coast, with victories during three consecutive away games to Old Trafford, winning six from seven encounters head-to-head.

Despite United’s form; it’s been straightforward very comfortable. Having said all that, Brighton are otherwise consistently inconsistent as their hosts, so this game is both fascinating and potentially rollickingly good entertainment.

Start time is 5.30pm BST a final reminder for now with daylight saving ending, kids. Game on!

Selection Changes

Man Utd have made two adjustments after last week’s victory at Anfield last weekend. Šeško starts instead of Mount, now on the substitutes, while last week’s win-securing hero Maguire is absent completely, Leny Yoro taking his place in defence.

Maguire picked up an injury during training this week. Tyrell Malacia is named among the substitutes for the first time this season.

The Seagulls opted for a single switch after their 2-1 home win over Newcastle. It’s ostensibly a defensive one, including De Cuyper instead of Gómez, who drops to the bench.

Welbeck, formerly of United to win the Premier League in 2012-13, comes back to Manchester on a hot streak of four goals in three games, an improvement on over his last 15 matches.

Build-Up

The manager pays little heed for the opinions of Arne Slot … but Danny Welbeck is highly concerned about the considerations by the former Chelsea manager.

Analysts have noted the fixture may influence their campaigns as the Premier League unfolds.

Star performers are the captain from the hosts and the Brighton forward from the away side, both in fine form lately.
