'Our Mission Is Exclusively Eliminating' - The Way The Sudanese Ruthless Fighting Force Perpetrated a Mass Killing

Fighters chuckle as they move on the rear of a pick-up truck, speeding past a row of several lifeless forms and heading in the direction of the descending Sudan's evening sky.

"Observe this extensive accomplishment. See this genocide," one exclaims.

The fighter grins as he directs the recording device on his own face and his associate militiamen, their paramilitary insignia visible: "They are all going to die in this manner."

The men are exulting in a massacre that humanitarian officials believe killed more than 2,000 people in the Sudanese city of al-Fashir in recent weeks.

A Community Cut Off from the World

Having held the community under siege for nearly 24 months, from the summer the militia proceeded to strengthen its control and blockade the remaining inhabitants.

Orbital photography demonstrate that fighters began to erect a massive berm - a elevated sand barrier - encircling the boundaries of al-Fashir, blocking roads and preventing aid.

As the siege worsened, seventy-eight civilians were killed in an paramilitary strike on a mosque on 19 September, while the UN reported 53 further were murdered in aerial and artillery bombardments on a displacement camp in fall.

Graphic Recording Reveals Defenseless Civilians Executed

In the early morning on 26 October the RSF defeated the remaining government positions and captured the primary compound in the city, the headquarters of the Military Unit, as the army retreated.

One of the most graphic videos to surface and examined depicted the consequences of a mass killing at a university building on the west of the city, where numerous lifeless forms were visible spread across the area.

An older individual wearing a robe sat alone amid the victims. He rotated to gaze as a militiaman equipped with a weapon moved descending the steps facing the victim. lifting his rifle, the gunman fired a one bullet at the individual, who collapsed to the floor lifeless.

"Why is this individual still alive," one fighter exclaimed. "Execute him."

Satellite images taken on 26 October indicated to confirm that killings were furthermore conducted on the roads of el-Fasher, based on a study released by the university analysis team.

An observer who spoke said they had witnessed "multiple of our relatives being killed - these individuals were gathered in a specific area and each one killed."

Militia Commanders Try to Conduct Public Relations

Following the events that followed the massacre, paramilitary leader admitted that his troops had committed "violations" and stated the occurrences would be investigated.

Posts depicting its combatants distributing aid to civilians were disseminated by some accounts, while the militia's media office published multiple recordings allegedly to display the proper management of army prisoners of war.

Despite the digital initiative being employed by the militia, their conduct in the city have provoked international outrage.
